1.1. Please read these conditions carefully before using or registering on prodjs.co.uk website. By registering on, and using the prodjs.co.uk website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions. In addition, when you use any current or future prodjs.co.uk service, you will also be subject to the guidelines and conditions applicable to that service.

2.1. Company: The Company is ActiveDJs Limited trading as Pro DJs.
2.2. Client: Is an organisation or individual registered to use the services of prodjs.co.uk.
2.3. DJ: The DJ is an individual registered to offer disc jockey, karaoke or similar services to the Client.
2.4. Website: www.prodjs.co.uk
2.5. World Pay:
2.6. ISP: The ISP is the internet service provider at that time appointed by the Company.
2.7. PSP: The PSP is the Payment Service Provider at that time appointed by The Company.
2.8. Webmaster: The Webmaster is the organisation that supplies the Company web production/development services.

3.0. general
3.1. The Company is not an agency. The Company provides a fulfilment service via the internet for the sourcing, booking and payment of DJs. This service is aimed primarily at corporate leisure organizations that have a branded ‘high street’ bar or nightclub presence.
3.2. The Company reserves the right to suspend Client or DJ access privileges and to remove Client or DJ details from the Website.
3.3. Please review our Privacy Notice (which also governs your visit to prodjs.co.uk), to understand our practices.
3.4. Pro DJs accepts no liability for any loss that may arise if the services or goods advertised within this website become unavailable.
3.5. All written material © 2004 Pro DJs, UK. All trademarks, brand names, model number / specifications and images are acknowledged as the property of their respective owners.

4.0. DJ commitments
4.1. To be professional and courteous at all times when in the service client.
4.2. To deploy client music policy without question or deviation.
4.3. To supply music from his/her own exclusive record library.
4.4. To ensure that any equipment the DJ may supply carries a portable appliance test certificate and is in a safe and serviceable condition.
4.5. To provide an alternative DJ of similar standard if a confirmed booking cannot be fulfilled for whatever reason. Or, to give the client 14 days notice that a confirmed booking cannot be fulfilled.
4.6. To inform the Pro DJs administrator at the earliest possible opportunity of any failure on the part of the client to fulfil their commitments.
4.7. To adhere to the Pro DJs system of DJ supply and Pro DJs Terms & Conditions at that time being in force.
4.8. To be solely responsible for any Income Tax and/or National Insurance contributions and to be solely responsible for any liability to the Inland Revenue and/or Customs and Excise.
5.0. client commitments
5.1. To provide for use by the DJ, sound and lighting equipment in a safe and serviceable condition.
5.2. To pay the DJ his/her fee by the method agreed at the time of booking.
5.3. To pay the DJ overtime at the minimum rate of £25 per hour (one hour minimum and half hour periods thereafter).
5.4. To inform the Pro DJs administrator at the earliest possible opportunity of any failure on the part of the DJ to fulfil his/her commitments.
5.5. To adhere to the Pro DJs system of DJ supply and Pro DJs Terms & Conditions at that time being in force.
6.0. provisional booking
6.1. A provisional booking is made when a Client sends a request to the DJ via the Website booking system to engage his/her services on a specific date or dates. The DJ will then contact the Client via the Website booking system to either confirm his/her availability and to agree terms or to decline the booking.
6.2. Prior to the confirmation of a booking, the Client will negotiate and agree terms with the DJ via the online system.
6.3. Terms must include:
- Date and time of performance.
- Whether it is a DJ residency, potential residency or one off booking.
- Client music policy.
- DJ fee.
- Payment date.
- Payment method.
6.4. The above items are provided for automatically during the booking process.
6.5. The Client and DJ will negotiate terms of engagement exclusively between each other. The Company does not bear any responsibility for the terms agreed between the Client and the DJ.

7.0. confirmed booking
7.1. A confirmed booking is made when the DJ sends confirmation to the Client via the Website booking system his acceptance of the terms agreed between the DJ and the Client. There is a specific confirmation page for this purpose.

When you visit this site you may provide Pro DJs with two types of information: 1) personal information you actively choose to disclose ("Active Information") through registering and 2) information collected, in a way not visible to you, on an aggregate anonymous basis as you and others browse this site ("Passive Information").

8.2. active information you disclose while registering.
When you set up a DJ Profile you provide us with the following information. Real name, stage name, photograph, address, email address, contact telephone numbers, work history, details of references and your bank details. We do not sell this information to other companies.
Your stage name, your photograph, DJ style and availability will be visible to anyone with internet access looking at your profile within prodjs.co.uk. Details about your work history will only be visible to registered Clients or registered DJs that are logged on to the system.
Your personal contact details remain hidden until a confirmed booking has been agreed between you and a Client. Once a confirmed booking is made the Client will require your contact and bank details (dependant on payment method) for payment and recording purposes.

We do not receive any billing information from you when you pay online for our services. We use for you to make your secure transaction. Therefore, if you choose to communicate with Pro DJs through these means, you are assuming the risk of doing so and Pro DJs requests that you do not send or post sensitive information through these means.

You agree to waive your right to be identified as the author of such content and your right to object to derogatory treatment of such content. You agree to perform all further acts necessary to perfect any of the above rights granted by you to Pro DJs, including the execution of deeds and documents, at the request of Pro DJs.
13.3. You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you post; that, as at the date that the content or material is submitted to prodjs.co.uk: (i) the content and material is accurate; (ii) use of the content and material you supply does not breach any applicable Pro DJs policies or guidelines and will not cause injury to any person or entity (including that the content or material is not defamatory). You agree to indemnify Pro DJs and its affiliates for all claims brought by a third party against Pro DJs or its affiliates arising out of or in connection with a breach of any of these warranties.

14.1. Because prodjs.co.uk lists numerous profiles on the website and hosts numerous comments, it is not possible for us to be aware of the contents of each profile listed, or each comment or review that is displayed. Accordingly, Pro DJs operates on a "notice and takedown" basis. If you believe that any content the website contains a defamatory, misleading or untrue statement, please notify us immediately by following our reporting procedure, see ‘Report This Page’ link on any page. Once this procedure has been followed, Pro DJs will make all reasonable endeavours to remove the content complained about within a reasonable time.
